SUMMARY:„Good Citizen Participation 2026“ Awards Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:More than 60 projects from across Germany have applied for the “Good Citizen Participation” award this year – more than ever before. This shows that high-quality public participation is continuing to grow in importance and is being shaped with great commitment in local authorities and civil society. Now, the Centre of Excellence for Citizen Participation wishes to jointly recognise the projects that are setting new standards with their participation processes. Look forward to the awards ceremony for the “Good Citizen Participation” award, inspiring real-world examples and the opportunity to exchange ideas with committed stakeholders from local authorities, academia and civil society. The award is presented by the Centre of Excellence for Citizen Participation in collaboration with the Berlin Institute for Participation. Registration Participation is free of charge – however, places are limited. We therefore recommend that you register as early as possible!
