SUMMARY:Workshop: Concept and practice of outreach-based participation
DESCRIPTION:The aim of broad participation is to ensure the effective involvement of all those affected or affected groups. However, this cannot be achieved without special efforts. Young people, older people, people with intellectual or physical disabilities, and people from migrant backgrounds are often reluctant to accept invitations to take part in participatory processes, or find it difficult to do so. One solution may lie in various formats of outreach-based participation. You will learn how to prepare these formats, fill them with content, implement them methodically and, where appropriate, integrate them into larger processes. You will experience the benefits of targeted scoping phases as well as the advantages of collaborating with initiatives led by those directly affected.
