Ariadne Citizens’ Deliberation: Science in public dialogue for effective and sustainable climate policy

Bild zur Veranstaltung Ariadne Citizens’ Deliberation: Science in public dialogue for effective and sustainable climate policy

Climate targets alone do not guarantee success. Achieving them requires concrete measures and a collaborative learning process involving the scientific community, politicians, the business sector and society. That is why, from the outset, the Ariadne project involved members of the public in the research processes concerning policy options for the energy transition through deliberative formats.

The Ariadne Citizens’ Dialogue on the Energy Transition will conclude in Berlin in summer 2026. At the results event, citizens from the Ariadne Citizens’ Dialogue will meet with representatives from politics, business and science. The focus will be on the results of the nearly three-year process. These will be presented, discussed and contextualised politically.

Doors open at 9 am. Until 10 am, you can explore the results of the citizens’ dialogue in an exhibition. After the official proceedings, there will be a get-together with finger food and drinks, where you can exchange ideas (the event ends at 4.30 pm).

Places are limited. Please register as soon as possible to secure a place.
