Democracy R&D Global Conference 2027

In 2027, the World Conference of the global citizens’ assembly network Democracy R&D will take place in Bogotá (Colombia) and Brasília (Brazil). This will be the first time the conference is held in the Global South, marking an important milestone for Democracy R&D and for the growing community of deliberative democracy in Latin America. The Instituto de Política Abierta and Delibera Brasil are serving as co-organizers.

The conference will take place in June 2027: The main event will run from June 2 to 5 in Bogotá, followed by a post-conference meeting from June 8 to 9 in Brasília.
