For anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of the potential of the democratic lottery system, Josh & Ted Wachtel have invited several interesting guests to their event series “The Lunch Break with Josh & Ted Wachtel.”

In the style of a “talk show,” Josh opens and closes the hour with a song and first chats briefly with Ted before they both introduce their guest.

This season’s focus is on “True Representation”—the radical yet sensible idea that “we, the people” can govern ourselves at every level of society.

On October 21, Leonora Camner will be the guest. She is the executive director of Sortition USA, a nonprofit organization that advocates for democratic sortition nationwide. Under her leadership, the organization is expanding its influence and establishing local chapters across the U.S.

The “studio audience” has the opportunity to comment and ask questions at any time.

When you register for one of the sessions, you’re automatically registered for the other sessions in the series as well.
